As some of you may have heard or read, last summer Tracy lost the 110 year old home she has shared for over a decade with her long-time boyfriend (and sometime producer), Mike Dysinger, due to a house fire caused by a faulty power-strip. There were no human injuries, but sadly, two of eleven pets succumbed to the smoke (but 9 survived!). While the fire was a near total disaster, miracuously, and thanks to the excellent work of the Burns Fire Department, the computer that contained the masters for Tracy's new record, "Victim Of the Blues", was rescued. It is now available in the Tracy Nelson store, at Amazon.com, iTunes, and everywhere else on April 19th.
Some very kind people put on a benefit in October of 2010 for Tracy and Mike, and we are now making available commemorative T-shirts and posters from that show to help raise re-building funds for the house. Order here. Read more about the benefit in the Nashville Scene! Check out some of the fine artists that participated!
The outpouring of care, concern, and love from friends, fans, and complete strangers alike over the past year has been truly overwhelming, extraordinary, and appreciated beyond words. Tracy and Mike would like to offer a heartfelt Very Special Thank You to each and every one of you!!
