Steve Boyd

Steve Boyd posesses an uncanny sense of melody, as well as a unique and beautiful tenor voice. His pop-rock and country songs have a 'sing-song' quality and a ring of familiarity, while being wholly unique. Steve's song, "This Girl of Mine", recorded with the White Animals, was placed in rotation on MTV in the mid-80's, and his songwriting and singing skills have been the driving force behind other successful bands such as the Claimstakers ("Recommended!" -Billboard) and The Escape Goats. Steve is currently writing and recording new material, as well as touring with the recently reunited White Animals. He can also be found playing around Nashville during his weekly Writer's Night at such venues as The Flying Saucer and The Slow Bar.
